Your blog can earn you money through affiliate marketing.
Advertising banners online is a terrible way to make money. It is predicted that less than 0.1% of viewers will click on an ad banner by 2020, and that number will only increase.
Twenty-five percent of all visitors block advertisements. This means that fewer people see your blog’s ads.
You will have lighter pockets as a result.
Affiliate marketing, in my opinion, is the best way to monetize a blog. I think this is the best way to make money from a blog out of all eight.
Writing product review blogs can be a very effective way to use affiliate marketing. Here are the types of posts a product review blogger can write:
- Provides a detailed analysis of a product
- What are the similarities and differences between this product and others on the market?
- How to use a product after purchasing it
In this article, the focus will be on reviewing and the format to use for it.
Having created a product review blog myself, I can confirm that it works well. Investor Junkie is solely a revenue-generating site. It was sold in 2018.
Most of the sites that have sold for more than seven figures have also been product review blogs.
The last step consumers take before they purchase a product is to read product reviews. Previously found in Consumer Reports magazines, Google now provides online access to the content.
For your product review blog to be successful, you need to do many things. Below is a guide to getting started. Please contact me if you have questions.
1. Identify your niche
If you want to start a product review blog, you need either experience in the industry or you need to hire writers who are familiar with it.
Nothing frustrates me more than reading a review of a product written by someone who either does not possess the qualifications or has never used the product.
A product review can cover a wide range of topics, and it can fall into many niches. Examples include:
- Health is good for me
- Digital technology
- The computer and technology
Picking a niche could be the subject of an entire book. Choosing the right niche is the first step towards the next stage.
- Begin a blog of your own

3. Use a product review template
If you want your product review blog to succeed, you need a good layout and detailed reviews. It is recommended that a standardized format be used for each review (or at least all reviews in the same category). Establishing a standard operating procedure simplifies the process of writing each review (and makes it easier to delegate).
The following template is my recommendation for product reviews. Several years were spent testing and analyzing heat maps before it was perfected.
Every blog post you write should contain the following sections:
