You may have a hard time choosing the right items: from branded juice bottles to stress relief balls to candy jars full of sweet treats.
What are their benefits, how do you choose one, and what do you need to consider?
We’ve compiled a list of the best promotional giveaways below and a guide to assist you in picking the right giveaway for your next event.
What is a freebie?
Let’s start from the very beginning. Freebies, also known as promotional items, are giveaways or gifts that can be used as marketing tools. Through them, we hope to promote the company.
Why do companies use corporate giveaways?
It is still possible to increase brand awareness even after an event has ended by giving away promotional items. The brand loyalty of a company can also be enhanced.

Choosing promotional products
There are a lot of ideas out there for giving away items, so how can you choose the right one for your company?
Consider the cost
In spite of everyone else giving stuff away, is this the right approach for your exhibition? Be careful of giving away things just because you believe you have no justification for doing so!
Even so, event giveaways can be incredibly successful if they are done well and do not need to be very expensive. Another option would be to purchase a smaller number of these products and only give them away as a small thank you to potential leads.
When you manufacture your own products, why not give them away as samples? Your customers will get a better understanding of how to use your product, and it will be considerably less expensive. As a part of our eco-friendly display promotion, we handed out seed paper samples at an event.
Put a brand on it
Make as many promotional products as possible brandable and linkable to your brand.
Customers will easily recognize your freebie if you reinforce your identity with a logo. Brand recall is best illustrated by this example. When you receive a quote for single color printing, check with the supplier to find out what option is being offered.
Even if you can’t purchase a branded item, consider adding your own branding to it. Generic plush toys are marketed using business cards punched with holes.
Could you brand your sweets with branded packaging or add small printed stickers? There will be no end to their eating. Stand out from the crowd!
There are plenty of promotional products available. It’s important to select a promotional item that is relevant to the event and falls within your budget.
Don’t forget to consider your audience. Are corporate types required to have stationery? Your creative audience is likely to be more interested in eco-friendly giveaways that can be used for multiple purposes?
As a way of increasing brand recall, you should give away something that reflects your brand both during the event and afterwards.
